Vasomotricity

The regulation of blood vessel tone — smooth muscle control of vessel diameter for blood flow and heat distribution.

Vasomotricity is the ability of smooth vascular muscles to regulate the diameter of blood vessels. It controls blood flow, blood pressure, and heat distribution — and is influenced by the autonomic nervous system, attention, and stress.

Key Functions

  • Vessel tone — constriction and dilation of arteries and veins
  • Thermoregulation — heat distribution (cold extremities = vasoconstriction)
  • Microcirculation — tissue perfusion and nutrient delivery
  • Autonomic — sympathetic and parasympathetic regulation

In ONDA Life

Part 14 (I Channel) targets "Vasomotricity: Managing the tone of smooth vascular muscles for the free flow of blood and heat distribution." Biomarkers include "stabilization of vascular tone (absence of cold extremities under stress)."
