ONDA Protocol

Emotions

Multicomponent responses — physiological, behavioral, and experiential — to internal or external events.

Emotions are multicomponent responses that include physiological changes (hormones, autonomic nervous system), behavioral expressions (facial, vocal, postural), and subjective experience (feelings). They are rapid, often automatic reactions to events that matter for survival or well-being.

Key Components

  • Physiological — heart rate, cortisol, adrenaline, vagal tone
  • Behavioral — facial expression, posture, voice
  • Experiential — the felt sense (feelings)
  • Functional — prepare the body for action (approach, avoid, connect)

In ONDA Life

The ONDA system works with emotions at multiple levels — from limbic regulation (Parts 4–6) to cognitive reappraisal (Part 10) to empathic calibration (Part 11). Emotions are not enemies to suppress but signals to integrate.
