AMPK (AMP-activated protein kinase) is a critical enzyme that serves as the internal energy sensor within every cell. In the ONDA architecture, it is classified as The Metabolic Master Switch. Its primary function is to monitor the ratio of available energy (ATP) to its "waste products" (AMP). When cellular fuel levels drop, AMPK is activated to protect the system from exhaustion.

SYSTEM_LOGIC: OPERATING PRINCIPLE

AMPK functions as an emergency resource manager: when energy is scarce, it deactivates "expensive" growth processes and prioritizes "budget-friendly" survival protocols:

  • Catabolic Shift: Activates energy-generating pathways — specifically fatty acid oxidation (fat burning) and increased glucose uptake by muscles.
