Biofeedback

Real-time feedback of physiological signals — learning to consciously regulate heart rate, brain waves, muscle tension.

Biofeedback is a technique that provides real-time information about physiological processes (heart rate, brain waves, muscle tension, skin conductance) so that a person can learn to consciously regulate them.

Common Modalities

  • Heart rate variability (HRV) — breathing coherence, stress resilience
  • EEG/Neurofeedback — brain wave patterns (alpha, theta, beta)
  • EMG — muscle tension
  • Galvanic skin response — arousal level

In ONDA Life

Biofeedback principles underlie many ONDA practices. Connecting a fitness tracker or smartwatch provides real-time vitals during practice. Part 7 biomarkers (P300, saccadic stability, theta/alpha states) can be measured and trained through biofeedback approaches.
