There’s also a slower loop: the baroreflex, which regulates blood pressure, oscillates at roughly 0.1 Hz — about one cycle every 10 seconds. When you breathe at that same ~0.1 Hz pace, the two rhythms line up and reinforce each other, and the heart-rate oscillation grows to its largest, smoothest amplitude. That’s resonance.

Finding your resonance frequency
