Broca's Area

The brain region for speech production — assembles and delivers the motor programs of language.

Broca's area is a region in the left frontal lobe (inferior frontal gyrus) responsible for speech production. It assembles the motor programs for articulation and coordinates the muscles of the mouth, tongue, and larynx.

Key Functions

  • Speech production — grammatical structure, word retrieval
  • Articulation — motor planning for vocal output
  • Expressive language — turning thought into spoken words

In ONDA Life

Part 10 engages Broca's area as one of the "centers for assembling and delivering speech structures." Together with Wernicke's area and the Ventral Vagus, it enables sovereign expression — clear, authentic self-expression supported by calm social engagement.
