I Adapt
Protocol: Gravity Mastery and Interoception
This stage is dedicated to mastering gravity and transitioning from the state of “swimming” (complete dependence on the environment) to “support” (attaining internal autonomy). Here, we lay the foundation for how our body interacts with the physical world. We move from passive survival to the active management of our position in space.
From a neurophysiological perspective, we are working with the deepest, automated processes. The primary goal is to tune the brainstem and reticular formation, as well as to activate the primary sensorimotor cortex: managing muscle tone (optimizing the balance between flexors and extensors), learning to switch rapidly between states of “relaxation/fluidity” and “tone/stability,” and activating spinal pattern generators for natural locomotion.
Biological Protocol
The protocol is aimed at a deep alignment of the body with Earth’s physical constants. Each practice at this stage has a clear scientific basis:
Rhythmic Coherence
Synchronizing breathing cycles with micro-movements to tune cardiovascular resonance.
Spinal Patterns (CPG)
Working with Central Pattern Generators in the spinal cord. We transform the metaphor of “swimming in the ocean” into an algorithm for light and efficient movement.
Vestibulo-Ocular Reflex (VOR)
Training the coupling of eye and head movements to stabilize gaze and orientation.
Interoception and Energy Efficiency
Developing the skill of perceiving internal states (organ signals, pressure, heartbeat) as the foundation for emotional intelligence. Training the nervous system to perform tasks with the minimum necessary muscular effort, eliminating parasitic tension.
Target Systems
The “technological stack” of Part 3 is directed at optimizing the proprioceptive feedback loop (the brain-muscle-brain chain).
- •Vestibular Apparatus: Spatial stabilization and navigation.
- •Cerebellum: Coordination and precision of movement.
- •Vagus Nerve (Ventral Branch): Social engagement and a biological sense of safety.
Results & Benefits
The outcome of completing Part 3 is the deep adaptation of the body to the physical world. Your biological markers of progress include:
- •Reduction of muscular tension (the “body armor”).
- •Stabilization of breathing rhythms under physical exertion.
- •Increased Heart Rate Variability (HRV).
You transition from “swimming” (a chaotic response to external stimuli) to “support” (the ability to maintain centeredness and stability in any changing environment). You transform your body from an object acted upon by gravity into a subject that utilizes gravity as a resource.
