Prefrontal Cortex

The brain's command center for executive functions — attention, planning, inhibition, and cognitive control.

The prefrontal cortex (PFC) is the front part of the frontal lobe, responsible for executive functions: planning, decision-making, working memory, attention control, and inhibition of inappropriate responses.

Key Regions

  • Dorsolateral PFC (dlPFC) — cognitive clarity, focus retention, working memory
  • Medial PFC (mPFC) — self-reflection, metacognition, separating fact from interpretation
  • Ventromedial PFC — emotional regulation, social decision-making

In ONDA Life

Part 7 activates the PFC as the "command center for attention and executive functions." We strengthen the link between PFC and Anterior Cingulate Cortex for instantaneous detection of inconsistencies — the foundation of discernment.
